Not only has the temperature been hot in California lately, but there’s been a lot of heat surrounding some sizzling local political issues also! So what do you get when you combine a good cause, a dozen great urban and hip hop acts, and bunch of college campuses across the State of California? You get The Clean Energy Tour, a community event sponsored by the California Students Sustainability Coalition and Communities Against Prop 23. This statewide movement supports the opposition of Prop 23, because this proposition serves to reverse California’s clean energy law, AB 32. Some call Prop 23 the “Dirty Energy Proposition”.
So who’s gonna be featured on the Clean Energy Tour? One Cell Records’ own J-Sw!ft is performing, along with a multitude of other top-notch acts, such as:
Pete Rock & CL Smooth
DJ Muggs
Freedom
Garth Trinidad
Bambu
Fatlip (of Pharcyde) & St. Imey
Christian Lien
Mike de la Rocha
Beatrock Music
… and many more!
